Irish Porter Cheesy Pizza

  • Pizza base (purchased in Aldi)
  • 2 x 400g cans plumed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Mozzarella torn into chunks
  • Cahill’s Irish Porter Cheese
  • Bunch of basil leaves
  • Meats of your own choice (pepperoni, chorizo, etc)


  1. Place the pre-prepared base on a chopping board
  2. Sprinkle plain flour over the base
  3. Drain the juice from the plumed tomatoes and tip the rest into a mixing bowl
  4. Add olive oil, oregano and a pinch of salt
  5. Squash everything together using your hands
  6. Pre-heat the grill to high
  7. Spread the sauce over the base using a large spoon
  8. Add toppings of your own choice
  9. Add both mozzarella and Irish Porter cheese
  10. Place until the grill for a number of minutes until bubbles appear and the sides have puffed up
  11. Allow cool and serve!
