Last week Bord Bia hosted six Irish producers at Salon Du Fromage a dairy show which took place in Paris, France. We were very proud to be apart of this famous show. Salon Du Fromage is a cheese show that we attend regularly over the last few years. The event showcases over 200 Artisan food producers from twenty countries. Over 7,000 buyers and consumers attended the event this year.
At Cahills Cheese we value events like these. In recent times challenges have arose in the dairy market from Brexit and US Tariff’s. Salon Du Fromage allowed us to meet with new buyers as well as catch up with present buyers. This allowed us to build key new relationships for years to come. The show also allows us to maintain relationships with buyers we only see a number of times through out the year. By meeting buyers allowed us to forge alliances with buyers who could help us enter certain markets that we wouldn’t have been able to break into without outside help.
The show provided us with huge exposure rate worldwide which is key for the Cahills Cheese Brand. We were able to express to people what Cahills Cheese is all about. Our heritage plays a huge part in the Cahills Brand. People were able to get a real life explanation of how Cahills began and how we got to where we are today. The Cahills Cheese logo was shared across all platforms of Social Media which we hugely benefited from. Our following on social media platforms increased and we are now able to share content to more people from all parts of the world.
