Video Archive: Cahills’ Killarney Cream Liqueur

December 6, 2019

A nostalgic throw back to 28 years ago to a local food fair and to a little bit of our history that’s sometimes forgotten. Our Killarney Cream Liqueur was a popular item in our range both on the domestic and export market.

There were seven children in our family , five boys and two girls. As we grew , so too did the business with everyone playing their part. That family spirit is wonderfully captured in this clip with Liam Cahill , Eoin Cahill and a very (very) young Helen Cahill on our stand.

Seamus Hennessy who is a great promoter of local business is on the mic . Martin O’Connor who worked in our dairy for many years is interviewed as is local Garda sergeant, John Whelan (RIP). Thanks to George Daly and the Daly family for this clip.
